Early 19th-C English Wooden Mallet – Rounded Base

A beautifully timeworn wooden mallet dating to the early 19th century, sourced from a small village a couple of hours north of London. Entirely hand-carved, with a softly rounded base and wonderful natural patina developed over generations of use.

Originally a working tool, now just as compelling styled on a desk, shelf, or stacked books. It makes an unexpectedly perfect paperweight.

Good antique condition with expected wear consistent with age and use. Surface marks, minor irregularities, and patina are as shown.
