Set of 6 Antique C. Ahrenfeldt Limoges French Porcelain Dessert Plates
A lovely set of six antique dessert plates by C. Ahrenfeldt, one of the most respected names in Limoges porcelain. Made in France in the 1890s, each plate features a delicate hand-painted pink poppy motif on a luminous white ground with a scalloped, embossed rim with raised floral detailing and gilt trim.
The backstamp is the verified C. Ahrenfeldt Limoges mark with the "CA France Déposé" overglaze monogram, confirming the officially registered design and consistent with late 19th century production, not reproductions.
Gilt shows varying degrees of wear consistent with age and use, as is typical of pieces this old. No chips, cracks, or repairs on any of the six plates.
A beautiful set for entertaining, collecting, or styling, and a rare find as a complete, matched group in this condition.
