Pair of Vintage French Mirrors — Napoleon III Inspired, Navy and Gilt Scrollwork, Mid 20th Century

A handsome matched pair of decorative mirrors featuring a deep navy ground with gilt acanthus scrollwork, an inner beaded border, and an outer egg-and-dart molding. The two mirrors differ slightly in size, adding to their charm as a collected pair.

Inspired by the Napoleon III style of mid-19th century France — characterized by rich color, ornate gilding, and classical decorative motifs — these mirrors translate beautifully into both traditional and contemporary interiors. The hanging hardware is set for one to hang vertically and one horizontally as demonstrated in photos, but can be easily replaced.
