Antique French Dried Flower Convex Glass Display — Provençal Immortelles, Late 19th / Early 20th Century

A beautifully preserved oval dried flower arrangement displayed beneath convex glass in a gilt braided frame with a velvet hanging loop. The arrangement features immortelles — dried everlasting flowers historically cultivated throughout Provence specifically for decorative use — in warm tones of amber, rust, and cream against a dark background.

The convex oval glass, braided gilt border, and leather hanging loop are all hallmarks of authentic late 19th / early 20th century French decorative craft. Immortelle arrangements of this type were a beloved tradition in French households of the period.

Acquired from an antique dealer in Aix-en-Provence, France. Condition as shown in photos.
